Electrify Expo New York Recap: A Weekend of Electric Fun & Innovation

Over the weekend of October 12-13, we at Radmoto had the pleasure of attending the Electrify Expo in New York. This was a rare opportunity to step away from our shop and immerse ourselves in the latest electric vehicle trends without the pressure of exhibiting. We connected with manufacturers, explored exciting new technologies, and had a blast along the way!

A Thrilling Event for EV Enthusiasts

Electrify Expo is the largest electric vehicle festival in North America, and the New York event did not disappoint! Set in the massive Nassau Coliseum, the show offered over a million square feet of electric innovation. Whether you're passionate about personal electric vehicles (PEVs), electric bikes, or e-motorcycles, there was something for everyone.

We had the opportunity to see some of the hottest brands in the industry, including Tesla, Volvo, Lucid, Rivian, and Toyota. The hands-on demos were fantastic, but we were especially impressed by Rivian’s upcoming R2 SUV, set to launch in 2026. The blend of off-road capability and modern electric power really got our attention.

Aftermarket Accessories & Customization: Inspiration Everywhere

Beyond the cars, there was a strong presence from aftermarket companies, offering everything from specialized seats to batteries. It was inspiring to see the creativity and passion around customization. The number of ways people modify their e-bikes, scooters, and even electric skateboards was mind-blowing. We left with plenty of ideas for new accessories we might offer to our Radmoto customers.

Speaking of skateboards, watching the electric skateboard races was definitely a highlight. The level of competition was fierce, and it’s safe to say that the future of personal electric vehicles (PEVs) goes far beyond bikes and scooters.

Our Top 3 Takeaways

  1. Diverse PEV Options: Whether you’re looking for a one-wheel, scooter, bike, moped, or cargo bike, the market has something for everyone. It’s all about choosing the right speed, distance, and use case. At Radmoto, we’ve got you covered whether you’re commuting, cruising, or adventuring.

  2. Crashes Happen: With so many first-time riders testing out new gear, there were plenty of spills—from cargo bikes to brand-new e-motorcycles. It’s all part of the learning curve with electric mobility, but it reminded us how important it is to choose a reliable, well-serviced vehicle from a trusted seller like Radmoto.

  3. Manufacturer Challenges: Many companies are still figuring out how to set up their dealer networks and service channels. After talking to numerous manufacturers, we realized that Radmoto is in a fortunate position. While many powersports companies are hesitant to work with electric bikes, we’ve built a solid reputation for sales and service. Complex systems like these require expert care, and we’re proud to be a trusted service provider.

Why Electrify Expo is a Must-Attend

If you’re into personal electric vehicles (PEVs), e-bikes, e-motorcycles, or anything EV-related, Electrify Expo is a must. You get hands-on access to the latest models, direct interaction with manufacturers, and a chance to test ride a variety of electric vehicles. It’s an excellent place to explore innovations and find your next ride.

From the extensive demo zones to the electric vibe throughout the event, it’s an electrifying experience (pun intended) for both casual fans and die-hard enthusiasts alike.

We’ll definitely be back next year—and we recommend you do the same!
